I really loved this trip. Lofti & Nicole did a great job of being fun, helpful, and informative. They get 5 stars. Maybe 6. The ride itself was super. Harder than I expected, but well worth the effort. Again, a 5. So why not a total 5? Well, honestly, the bike was a bit lacking for someone who rides a lot (which was everyone on our trip). It was a rental, I understand, and like a rental car, a bit beat up. But that was the only thing (really, that's it) I didn't love about the trip. Update the bikes, and it's an 11.

This was an excellent and well-planned trip, expertly hosted by Ben and Cristina. The scenery, activities, and itinerary were nicely planned. This was further enhanced by the hospitality and extensive knowledge imparted by our guides . . . not to mention their exceptional culinary skills.

I have never done a group tour before and this was certainly one that inspires me to do more! Guides were absolutely fantastic and activities were great. Would recommend this trip to anyone.

This is a fantastic tour. Lots of riding and certainly lots of challenges but the bus is always there if you get tired and need a rest. Lofty and Kate, our amazing guides, made this trip extra special as they had great senses of humour and took wonderful care of us. The scenery was spectacular and the food and accommodations were way beyond what I expected. I would definitely recommend this tour!

I told Mike and Natalie when we were have dinner late in our trip that each of us came with the hopes of having a lifetime's experience and that they as leaders had provided that for us. Mike was an exceptionally skilled leader. He put his heart and soul into taking great care of each person in the trip group to assure that we were each having the best possible experience. He has an in-depth knowledge of all things of interest from birds to plant life to peaks to cultural history and current events. He makes a huge difference and he is a great driver and packer and cook!

I would say "ditto" to everything Jim wrote. The trip was run beautifully, thanks to Mike and Nat. Mike taught us so much about the flora and fauna of NZ and Nat fed us like kings. They both gave us a lot of insight about Kiwis and we were impressed with the overall passion for the country and the environment that seems to be prevalent there. Around every corner was a more beautiful sight. I have heard my husband describing NZ to people saying, "it's like putting all of our national parks into a place the size of Florida, without the people"! For me, the dramatic beauty of the fiord lands was the highlight. We were well advised to have plenty of memory in our camera and to take the heli-hike option to see the Franz Josef glacier. And half our group took the leap at the Kawarau Bungy jump - I think we're all still amazed that we did. We were very fortunate to have a great group and perfect weather... we'll be back!

This was a great trip -- the maturity, leadership, support and cooking of our two guides, Dave and Mel were outstanding. They made the trip special and hassle free. We were blessed with almost perfect weather so we carried our foul weather gear for exercise only. The hikes were great and New Zealand is a special place of beautiful scenery.
