After the nice drive and the opportunity to catch a nap so we could be all rested for the start of our adventure, we got off to a crazy start with a rain-filled day but did not let it dampen our spirits. This is kind of the way our trip went, but our guides took good care of us and adjusted things where they could to keep our trip on track. We took this trip to enjoy the challenge and the beauty of New Zealand and can say we were not disappointed. Thanks Lauren and Dan for a great trip.

Weather was perfect, just like a postcard! Love New Zealand, would love to live there. I love the feeling of isolation, the feeling of the great outdoors, it has so many outdoor activities to offer, you could spend a lifetime hiking, cycling all the tracks & never repeat any. I hope it always remains the way it is, unspoilt by the rest of the world.

We learned so much about the country and its people, as well as the flora and fauna. The days were packed with vigorous activities in beautiful environments. The guides were tireless and did all the food preparation and clean-up with efficiency and politely deflected all offers of assistance. I loved that the more vigorous hikes were out and back, so anyone who was getting tired could rest and then turn around and return. I have already recommended Active to friends.

I was looking for a break - mind and body - from my everyday and Condor really delivered! Patagonia is out of this world (almost literally), the group was fantastic, the activities were challenging but not too overwhelming, and Cynthia as our guide was absolutely fantastic - a true people person who ensured success of the trip and group. I definitely recommend this trip!

My luggage got lost in San Francisco and I hiked with various borrowed pieces of attire for three days, I made friends with people from 3 countries, I hiked and biked and climbed places I would have never imagined I would be able to do, I got my heart and stomach turned while downing the 134 meters Nevis, I was utterly moved by the stunning beauty of New Zealand and by the kind and open hearts of all Kiwis I met along the way... does that describe the fabulous time my son and I had with Active New Zealand's Tui adventure? Well - just on the surface. You got to go and see it to believe it. I certainly will do that again.

The trip was enjoyable primarily because Cynthia ensured that our needs were taken care of and was well organized. It was my FIRST and I may have been a little overwhelmed. i.e.loved the scenery but suffered a bit physically. i.e. my knees still aren't talking to me, which is fine. It was a learning experience. My comment to improve the trip (which may not be possible) is somehow to rearrange the last two days (caves and penguins, which are somewhat filler, to get us back to Puntas Arenas such that those two days can incorporate some whale watching instead. Again, I appreciated Cynthia's work and organization and would take another trip with her (if I can get my knees to agree :>)

The best trip I have ever done in my life - I am 23 and have travelled a lot but this trip was truly the best. No museums and galleries, just nature in a stunningly beautiful country, active exercise daily pushing your limits, marvelous friendships, doing things I have never done in my life, climbing peaks and soaking in the sun of incredible New Zealand. Thank you for the opportunity to learn and experience so much.
