This trip was amazing. Our guide, Jessica, was so attentive, knowledgeable and flexible. The experiences were out of this world. I will definitely be coming back and doing more active trips through this company.

Our trip to the Galapagos Islands was fantastic. The islands and the wildlife are spectacular. Pepo, our guide for the trip, was absolutely stellar. Highly recommend this trip.

Our guides Pieke and Natalie were awesome. They were fun, witty and knowledgable. All the meals were delicious and it was so nice having healthy snacks on the bus. Highlights, the biking in the Whakarewarewa Forest and the Tongariro Alpine Crossing (challenging but so worth doing). I highly recommend Active New Zealand so you can sit back and enjoy the scenery while they do all the driving and let them do all the planning.

My Rimu trip represented a personal challenge designed to determine if I could travel and create memories without my beloved husband. Bill. I succeeded and will be forever grateful to Lauren and Elle for their unfailing support and encouragement. I was the oldest person in our group but that didn't seem to bother anyone. The experience was a very positive one and I'm glad I was up to the challenge.

It was everything I had hoped for. The locations we went to - Siberia Valley, Southern Alps, Lake Crucible - were breathtaking. But, most of all, I want to acknowledgw the level of professionalism in your guides. They stayed away from "gossip," assisted others to make sure everyone felt involved, passed on wonderful information but was never the center of attention, and, there was never a feeling of "This is just one more set of clients". It's an incredible balance. Congratulations to the entire ANZ staff.

Our trip through New Zealand was a combination of hiking and a cruise on the Doubtful Sound. Our guides, Ken and Mel, were wonderful. They were not only our hiking guides, but our chefs at the end of the day. Our meals were exquisite!

A group of us booked this trip and the Tui as a reunion from previous travel in Ireland. We had some concerns about how strenuous it looked, but were assured that our guides could adjust to suit all of us. This they did in aces! Lina and Jax are real pros and made all of us feel welcome and not too wimpy when we felt something was beyond our abilities. Thoroughly enjoyed Jax's cooking and her botanical knowledge. Her ability to work with my food allergies was truly impressive and I never saw her without a smile on her face. Lina was simply a joy to have in charge. She seemed to deal with any changes needed without any stress. The laid-back vibe was much in evidence but everything was dealt with cheerfully and competently. The Tongariro Crossing is the hardest thing I have ever done but I would have never made it without Lina's encouragement. Thanks to all who made this trip happen.

All in all, I really enjoyed seeing the South Island - the scenery is spectacular; the beaches special. Really liked the Routeburn and Keplar tracks. I also had fun trying to identify the colorful birds that populate New Zealand.

South Island is a lot of land to cover in a week, but I think we made the most of it. There are many stunningly beautiful places to see, including the Siberia Valley, Milford Sound and heaps more in between. I was thrilled to have my first helicopter ride, to be flown in a 4-seater plane, ride in a jet boat and paddle a kayak, walk on a glacier and ride a bike along (and into) a river. Hikes and other activities were well balanced with a bit of "downtime" along the way. An excellent adventure!

It was an excellent tour. Locations of accommodations got us right out there. The sheep shearers cottage at Braemer Station was perfect.
