This was definitely a trip of a lifetime for me. Getting to snorkel with sea lions, giant tortoises, seeing the beautiful nature. It was the best!

The best part was experiencing the creation of the Earth through volcanic activity as well as endemic species evolution. Variety of landscapes and seascapes was awesome. I felt very well taken care of and returned with new knowledge and stories to tell!

Every Active itinerary ends with "you will return refreshed". I have never returned from an Active trip refreshed-- I reluctantly return to the doldrums called my life and yearning/plotting/planning for my next Active trip.
Nepal was never on my bucket list but the opportunity arose to partake in an awesome adventure. I have never backpacked (I've always used porters) and jumped in blindly to trekking for nine days. I never felt rushed or that this trip was boot camp. The tea houses were respectable and I was so happy to have four walls and a roof (as opposed to a tent) when it rained (it's not "supposed" to rain in April!). The unique aspect of this Annapurna Sanctuary trek was feeling like I was part of a team. I really felt connected to our porters-- it wasn't just giving them my luggage and seeing them at the next stop. It was like a family-- we shared food, played card games, and danced together. It gave me a deeper appreciation for Nepali culture and people-- one that is not advertised in the itinerary. So while you have the satisfaction of a beautiful and strenuous trek, you come back with the added bonus of a cultural awareness (I'm even adding to my playlist the Nepali Trekking song [Resamm Phiriry]).

The hiking was at times physically challenging, but the scenery spectacular. Amelia and Mel were well organized and attended to details especially the food and driving, so we could just enjoy.

An awesome 1st international trip to celebrate an early birthday - the rain forests, water falls, and mountains were absolutely spectacular! Made many memories with my new friends.

My husband and I had a fantastic honeymoon on the Tortuga trip! It was eveything and more we could have dreamed of! What better way to celebrate our marrage than with sea turtles, blue footed boobies, an amazing travel group and a well-educated tour guide.

There are no words to describe the beauty of the Galapagos, or how amazing our trip crew was. Pepo, our guide, was born to do this job. He was smart, patient, attentive, funny, and truly got to know each group member. The other members of our Active team were equally kind and fun. I could not recommend this trip more!

Dan and Amanda were great guides. Took care of every need, made sure everyone had a good time, there can't be better guides than Dan and Amanda. This was my 4th Active New Zealand trip, 2nd time with Dan. Dan is the best. On prior trips I had complained about the poor condition of the mattress in several hotels, on the TUI all the mattress and beds were in great shape.

Our trip to the Galapagos was full of adventure and wondrous sights. Our guide, Pepo, was knowledgeable, funny and engaged with us the whole time. He ensured everyone in the group could enjoy the activities, regardless of ability. The diversity of wildlife, scenery, activities and the skill of our guide made this a truly marvelous experience. The multiple snorkeling trips were the highlight of the holiday for me, but all of the activities were great.

Amazing scenery, fantastic activities, incredibly well organised, superb leadership from our guides Amelia and Mel, well chosen accomodation, excellent food and great company. The balance of challenge, rest and travel was just right. Many happy memories - kayaking up Milford Sound with snow on Mitre Peak, sunset at Mount Angelus, swimming in Lake Rotoiti, puddle jumping at Franz Joseph glaciers, star gazing at Braemar. I loved every minute of my trip and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone seeking an active holiday in New Zealand. Thanks for the experience.

I loved the fact that we were able to stay on the islands (as opposed to being on a boat). Every island was so different! We saw so much different wildlife: sea lions, sea and land turtles, dolphins, whales, penguins, starfish, all kinds of fish, 3 kinds of sting rays, amazing birds - you name it, we saw it. Jessica was a very knowledgeable guide! I personally could have done with a little less free time...
