What an incredible trip. With every step and turn a new photo framed itself ready to shoot. The scenery is spectacular through the lens, but nothing as spectacular as being there soaking in the grandeur of it all.

What an absolutely breathtaking country! We saw everything from bubbling mud pools and geysers to a hail storm on top of Tongariro Crossing. We had a blast on this trip and we created new friendships that will last a lifetime! Cheers!

This trip was truly a trip of a lifetime. The combination of hiking, biking and kayaking was such fun in the midst of constantly changing but gorgeous scenery. Our guides were superb. They were friendly, warm, funny and created opportunities for those at different fitness levels to get the most out of the trip. We had a blast in one of the most scenic and spectacular places on earth: the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. I highly recommend this trip!

It really was the trip of a lifetime, and a dream come true for me. A epic experience in every way! It was my first time in Nepal, really my first time in a developing country. As I had arrived early and already trekked Annapurna Sanctuary, I was up for the challenge of EBC. We had really great guides...Katie and Sudip...they were very attentive to our needs, professional, very informative and knowledgeable, personable and a lot of fun to be with! Bibek our assistant guide was always there to lend a hand and make the trip easier. And our porters continued to entertain us and provide much needed transport support, always with a big smile:))) The trekking terrain in the Himalayas is stellar! Every day provides new vistas, new experiences, more cultural awareness. The camera was always on duty! And never bored! The experience of being at such altitude...(which our guides prepared us for very well), in such a remote area of the world despite the hordes of people...the trekking culture...life in the tea houses..local people and their daily life and work...the hill country, forests, different vegetation...all made for such a rich and life changing adventure. I loved every aspect of life on the trail and experiencing all that Nepal had to offer. It was not always easy, it had its own challenges and hardships..but was worth every moment. I can't wait to go back......!

I was telling one of my co-workers before I left on the trip that it was going to be a challenging trip both mentally and physically and how rewarding it would feel when completed. The trip lived up to my expectations. Everything from the guides, local people, and the scenery were all fantastic. The unexpected snow only made it better by enhancing the beautiful mountains. Our guides Kate and Sudip were awesome.

I had never done any group travel before, so I wasn't totally sure what to expect. The trip was everything I hoped it would be an more. It felt like being on a vacation where someone has done all the planning, selected all the right locations to visit, then expertly organizes your days for you. I was also travelling solo for the first time and the guides and group members all made me feel very welcome.

The trek through the Annapurna Sanctuary was outstanding. The guides and porters were excellent and all aspects of the trip were well planned and executed. I experienced some medical problems that were addressed by the guides and alternate plans made for me. Despite not continuing to the base camps, my experience was outstanding.

I enjoyed the trip and glad we did it, but it was much more difficult than I thought it would be - physically and mentally. It is a beautiful country with great people. Kate and guides were GREAT!!

This being my third trip with Active again proved to be what I had expected. Well organized, satisfactory accommodations, food aplenty, knowledgeable guides and in general a fantastic time. Active always seems to get it right. I've never doubted their abilities to make my Active vacation a memorable experience. Thanks so much.

My husband and I had such a great time on the Rimu trip. I truly believe we saw all of the highlights of the South Island, and because our group was so small we were able to sneak in a few other stops too. Our tour leaders were top notch. Andrew (lead guide) gave us such a rich history of New Zealand that when we were on our own for another week after the trip, we were telling other people about the things we learned. Mel is such a fantastic cook, I felt like we were treated with restaurant-worthy meals every night she cooked! Definitely recommending to others and will also look into other places Active Adventures goes...

The EBC trip was awesome! To walk among the Himalayan mountains with fresh snow on them was simply breathtaking. It was so interesting to see the culture of the Nepali people as we walked along. Katie, Sudip and Bebeck were the best!
