We had an amazing adventure on our Winter Rimu trip in July and will definitely be back to New Zealand. Our guides were Lauren and Jax and they were fabulous every single day. We were excited to see what each day would bring and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip. Every day brought a new adventure, either hiking somewhere incredible, or kayaking, or driving through scenery that blew your socks off. Lauren and Jax also adapted the trip when weather caused issues, or to make sure we saw as much as possible - more than the brochure promised! We loved our trip and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Having been lucky enough to have had the chance to travel around the world a fair bit, I would rate my Jaguar trip with Active as probably the best trip ever. Even as I write this, I can't help but go down the memory lane and think of those two incredible weeks spent in Peru. Serenity, thrill, adrenalin rush, joy and sheer beauty - mix these with some lemon, salt, spice, chopped onions and salmon, and voila - you get a 'ceviche' of a trip! Loved it to bits and can't wait for another one with Active!

This trip was everything I could have asked for and more. I couldn't have asked for a better leader - Cynthia definitely made the trip what it was. She knew so much, was so helpful, and extremely fun and friendly. The Jaguar trip was incredibly well planned and excellently structured. It is clear that Active has done its research and knows what is best for its clients. I was certainly encouraged to take another trip with Active, and didn't want Jaguar to end - the people, the program, the experiences and the memories are all unforgettable!

Pepo was a wonderful trip leader. Sam, the intern that joined us, was particularly supportive during my first snorkeling experience. I appreciated the individualized encouragement! Loved the varied activities!

What an amazing trip!! Our guide was incredible and everyone in our group was fun and easy to get along with. I feel as though I got to see the 'real' Peru while having a great adventure. The food was SO DELICIOUS!!! The people were friendly and I loved the hikes, bike rides and kayaking. My favorite thing had to be the Lares Trail, but eating the scrumptious Peruvian food was right up there as well.

It was an amazing trip! Seeing Machu Picchu was a magical experience and the hike along the Inca Trail was equally wonderful with many views that took my breath away. The trip organization couldn't have been better. The food was plentiful and delicious from the restaurants in Cusco to the food our cook made us on the trail. The sleeping was easy too. The hotel in Cusco was really nice and the tents and sleeping pads provided on the trail were of good quality. I can't say enough good things about our awesome, friendly, knowledgeable, big-hearted, fun guides (Cynthia, Erik, and Frank). These guys did their jobs amazingly well. More importantly, we smiled and laughed a lot and I left the trip feeling like I had made some cool Peruvian friends.
