What a great trip. I feel like I saw so many amazing places in New Zealand that I never could have found on my own. It's also a great mix of activities, and the guides do everything possible to make it a safe and enjoyable trip.

So sorry it took me so long to write this but I have been traveling nonstop for the past several months leading up to and following this trip. What can I say but....AWESOME! The trip was very well planned and packed with so much activity and breathtaking scenery in such a short time. DK and Jacs were knowledgeable, personable, and the coolest guides you could hope for. The first couple of days were more physically challenging than I was planning on but no complaints here. The fact that you had less challenging options for some was awesome. After a physically challenging day it was so nice to sit down to a wonderful meal that Jacs had put together. I'm planning on doing your Himalayan trip with DK sometime this year and coming back to New Zealand every 12-24 months for another one of your adventures. You guys ROCK!

The trip was the best trip our family has taken. The food was always excellent and our guides were top-tier. I could not recommend this trip more to anyone who is on the fence. The trip explored some of the more remote parts the South Island of New Zealand and saw some of the most amazing scenes and sights this world can offer. Our activities varied daily along with our food. Our travel group and guides truly became our extended family. A+ trip!!

I had never taken any guided adventure trips before and didn't really know what to expect. I was really pleased with the level of professionalism from the day I inquired about Active NZ, throughout the booking process and the whole of the trip. The itinerary for the TUI is well organized and our guides were excellent. It was a wonderful visual, cultural and spiritual kiwi experience!

I've been wanting to explore New Zealand for some time and this trip didn't disappoint. The itinerary gives a chance to see a lot in a short amount of time. I also liked the flexiblity of adjusting activites to the groups' needs. I might be a little more fit than average as I just came off of 6 months of ironman training... but I was able to get push myself with another ironman competitor in the group. Our guides were first class. We had a few challenges during the trip but they never let them impact our experience. In fact, we didn't even know of some when they were occuring. I will certainly be back... hopefully next year to do Ironman Taupo and do some more hiking in your great country!

New Zealand is an incredibly beautiful country and to see it "from the saddle", there are no words to describe "this adventure"! Incredible and amazing, jaw-dropping! Cycling the south island allowed us to "get up close and personal" to the beauty of New Zealand and to the Kiwi people and their visitors - what a privilege! I decided to take this trip whilst travelling in the bus, reading the ASA brochure on the Kauri trip in New Zealand last New Year's. It didn't disappoint, well Machu Picchu did (too many people and my expectations were so high). Every other aspect of the trip was a delight, the places, the activities but most of all the people. Great way to spend a fortnight.

Absolutely perfect honeymoon. The Rimu trip allowed us to experience all our favorite outdoor activities (hiking, biking, photography, camping, kayaking) without all the hard and time-consuming work (driving, grocery shopping, cooking, dealing with problems along the way, such as car trouble, hotel reservations, etc.). We met some really interesting people, and we still had plenty of alone time to ourselves.
